The accommodation — an attached, yet private, apartment — was completely renovated in 2023 by one of the owners, who is a designer and carpenter, and a host of local craftspeople.

Reclaimed hand-hewn timbers, with original number markings, form the structure of the home. There is freshly painted shiplap and rafters, and new flooring. Oversized ventilating skylights open a vista to big skies and the surrounding mountainsides. A balcony on the top floor offers views of the sunset to the west.
